Need advice on my soundcard
Hey everyone, just wanted some advice, i'm currently using a sound card by sound blaster which has an ASIO driver or soemthing like that. the sound card is the SB Audigy 2 ZS.
in the specs it said that it can be used for recording with low latency as low as 2ms. is there any possible way i could fix it to be at zero latency or anything? driver or anything?

rarely will you get below 2ms on an audigy (or many sound cards for that matter). however, anything below 5ms is essentially inaudible to the human ear and not discernable in a mix.

Yeah, and if you don't need it to monitor your live input as well as play back recorded tracks, then latency wont really be an issue. 2ms is nothing anyway

I'm running the same sound card,(SB Audigy 2 ZS. ) I cannot hear any latency using the ASIO drivers. I think its a good card.
