Misc links on EQ, Compression, etc.

I posted this thread before on this forum, but is is deeply buried somewhere. So, I decided to bring it back to life with some new links as well.

-------

Here are some links that of information that I use in my audio engineering calsses at the studio. You should find them to be very informative and helpful.

For EQ:

(Click here for the condensed version.)

Equalization By The Octave (Note: Take this one with a grain of salt because not everyone agrees to these frequency ranges. I have included it for refernce only.)

Adding Bass Clarity

Uisng Complimentary Equalization

Using EQ to Compensate for the Fletcher-Munson Effect

Misc. articles on EQ

For Compression:

Using Compression in Mixing & Mastering

The Exciting Compressor

A comprehensive guide to compression and compressors

General topics:

The Project Studio Handbook

Misc. Topics

DigiFreq (Scott Garrigus' site)

Mastering

The Project Stuido Handbook's Mastering section

There are more, but these will keep you very busy learning to apply them.

Hope these will be of some help to those in need of it.
