Okay, I'm still working on Drum Midi

Like I've said I'm new to midi and completely naive. I'm now simply trying to run ab alesis drum machine in by midi using a midisport uno cable (1-in/1-out usb midi interface) i've set up the drum maps and everything looks good, but I can't get it to recognize the midi input. i think I have everything selected right, but again I'm new. If anyone runs an alesis drum machine using midi into Music creator, or knows how, very specific instructions on how to make this work would really help.

    Make sure you have set up your card to recognize MIDI this is one of the first things in the manuel. Then make sure you have something plugged in to turn the midi into audio, such as edirol.
