P5 1.5 -> 2.0

Hallo,

I ordered my upgrade today. I played with the 2.0 demo and it took a while to make me familar to the "new" program.
Anyone here who says: I don't need the upgrade?
Since I'm not working live, i don't need it badly...but it looks better than 1.5^^

And...pssssst....I'm selling the 1.0 Version in germany for 99 Euro...(sorry for the spam :-))

    Hi Huves,

Long time no see. I can think of no reason for you to avoid the upgrade to 2.0(.1). Even if you don't end up liking the new environment, I'm sure you'll love Dimension, which is a real gem of a synth that is easily worth the upgrade price on its own. And even if you don't want to play live with the Groove Matrix, the new features include track freeze and bounce to audio, which can be real CPU savers, so you'll be able to get more out of your PC.

I predict that you won't regret your order!

I dont think you can legally resell your copy. Its in the EULA. Its not transferrable.

    Groove Matrix
    Arpegiator
    Midi FX
    Track presets
    Dimension
    Psyn II
Alias Factor (this ones great for insant Bjork style lofi harps and music box sounds)
Audio file support with direct from disk sample streaming.
The ability to create custom acid files (ala groove clips).
    Track Freeze
    Multi time signature support
Excellent step and grid entry features
    Excellent midi editing tools

Hey I wasn't even a P5 1.5 owner and all these features won me over.
I must stress though that Dimension is seriously awesome.
The sound quality and articulation is absolutely superb on many patches.
Infact in Australia prices are absolutely ridiculous for software (even worse for hardware).
    I got P5 for $439 AUD.
I would probably have to pay close to that for Dimension alone with the sort of sound library it ships with.
Psyn II is seriously good also (damn nice filters and lots of routing options).
I'm particularly enjoying the FM and RM based possibilities at the moment.
It also excell's at custom synthetic percussion programming.
Definately capable of some "out there sounds".
I've since deleted Triangle II , Superwave P8 and PolyIblit from my VST folder since exploring PSYN II's possibilities.
Both synths have very good presence in a mix I might add.
Oh my God I'm sounding like a FANBOY .......
    Somebody save me LOL.
