Sonar and MS Mouse Tilt Wheel

I got this new MS mouse with tilt wheel for my office machine and instantly thought that would be great for using with Sonar to scroll sideways without having to move the mouse. Ran out and bought one (well, actually clicked a couple of clicks and waited for my best friend the UPS dude), hooked it up and......the horizontal scroll doesn't work with Sonar!! Why?

Best regards,
Greg

It does for me - but I needed to play with it...

There is a control panel item that allows you to define application specific actions. What I did was say for SONARPDR.EXE, whenever I press the tilt-wheel the mouse actually sends the appropriate keyboard shortcut for scroll left or scroll right.

click on the "clip" area of the master buss.
problem is the "track" area does not have a scroll bar. The Scroll bar is part of the bus window.
You could email Cakewalk about it, but doubt they would care enough to make the change.

my logitech mediaplay mouse works fine with sideways scrolling. Odd, very odd... I thought Logitech had just copied microsoft's design!

    HI ALL~~

      I found the solution~

I use tilt wheel mouse for years. but it broken~

So when i bought a new mouse with tilt wheel ,but the tilt wheel didn't work for scrolling horizontal~

    I found the solution:

You have to re-choose the driver to " USB HID-compliant mouse" instead of "HID copliant mouse"

Now I'm happy with my new mouse!!!
