Recording problems different than before

Hi There, I think I fixed my other problem. Don't really know how. But now How do I get this to not record the other takes it's building. I just want to record one instument at a time not have my second take pick up my guitar and the drum track from track 1. I looked at this board about this and found a little but Where is my sound card picture window. So I can make sure what you hear is off? I can't seem to figure it out.

You will find a lot of threads on this issue, essentially if your sound card is set up to "record what you hear" then you always record what you are monitoring. Look on your sound cards mixer and turn off the record what you hear. If you have the AC97 chip set then you need to replace your sound card. At least that was the only way that I could every record multiple audio tracks.

This will show you. Just ignore win95 - it works in all versions
