Quick Question

Has anyone figured out how to change the resolution on the metronome?
I can't seem to get it to play anything but quarter notes.

Thanks in advance.

Adjust it indirectly with Change Time Signature. If you've got a project in 4/4, right-click on the first measure in the timeline above the Arrange Pane. If you want the metronome at eighth notes with a first beat accent, change both the Beats per Measure and the Beat Value to 8. For a double-time feel, change only the Beat value to 8 and leave the Beats per Measure at 4. The Beat Value can be 1, 2, 4, 8, 18, or 32. HTH

Thanks for the info. That was driving me nuts. You should be able to take care of this under the metrnome options.

What does Cakewalk have against metronomes anyway? It took them until Sonar 4 to finally offer one that worked intuitively. Seems they should have learned by now.
