bus automation issue in 4.0.3

i have a project with automation on buses that worked just fine in 4.0.2, but no longer appears to work in 4.0.3.

in one case it's a sub bus that with volume fader automation (VERY abrupt transitions in a linear envelope). volume fader still moves during playback, but no change in volume is heard in the bus. when i make the transitions more gradual, works better; however, if i take volume to -INF for a span of time, i can still hear signal, albeit just barely. not what i would expect.

in another case, i'm automated a few parameters in an effect within an effect bus, but the automation is simply not happening.

automation is enabled. saw the readme about LinkPFSendMute already, but that didn't fix it.

any other ideas?

    uninstalled 4.0.3. then reinstalled 4.0.2. works like a charm. disappointing though. i'd really like to enjoy that quasi-gapless audio engine.

    Are you sure you weren't using any jump envelopes? I've noticed playback glitches if there are any on a track.

    I've been having automation problems similar to Mongo's after the 4.0.3 update.

    Mongo, this sounds like the same "jump envelope" bug many of us are having.

    Did you contact Cakewalk tech support?

    The more people who report this bug, the more likely we are to have a fix!
