It should work with GTP3. I have the Presonus Firebox, the little version of the Pod. It works fine with GTP3.

Yes, I am using the Presonus Firepod with Guitar Tracks 3.0. The firepod is absolutely the greatest piece of recording equipment that I have ever bought. It has 8 combined xlr/quarter inch inputs with or without phantom power, 24 bit, clear sound...it does everything it says it does.

I probably could have gotten by with the Firebox (2 channels) but I decided to go all out and get the 8 channel Firepod. With the Firepod, an entire band can lay down tracks at the same time. Or you can record an entire drumset on isolated tracks (1-kick drum, 2-snare drum, 3-overhead left, 4-overhead right, 5/6-stereo toms, 7-hihat, 8-ride). The possibilities are really cool with this thing.
