Eq Question...

If on a track I have 2 eq's, Sonitus and Timeworks, and I want to create one preset in either EQ that would be the sum of both settings, is there an easy way to do that? This would be in order to only use one of the two at a time.

Thanks,

Both display gain ... Q and frequency graphs You could sort of build ones graph on top of the other, but i'd think that it would help to make a complete track and plug in copy of the track you're eq'ing to use to compare to the one you're experimenting with.

Sounds impossible to me. One plugin doesn't know anything about the other plugin's settings. Thorne

I think that's what I'll do. NO matter what I try I can't get it to sound the same.

    Thanks,

Sometimes you need to use 2 or more EQ to get a satisfied sound. I think there is no need of getting sum of them, and if you do that, you might loss the sound quality of the mix. because you have to be careful about the amount, frequency, curve shapes etc.
