Change record speed....

Hi guys,

My band has been recording and we recorded one song a bit too fast. Is there anyway to slow the whole thing down a bit? I can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for... I really don't want to bring the drums and everything else back in at this point...

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Eric

The Pitch/Time Stretch correction in Sonar 4 (Audio FX) can be quite nice - if you don't overdo it. Experiment!

That would be nice, but I'm using Sonar 3 Producer...

Any ideas on what I can do?

    Thanks,
    Eric

    Use Melodyne.

To fit to audio to a new tempo, without altering pitc, download the demo and try it.

Is it compatible with Sonar? Do I have to export all the audio files to wav files first then import them back to sonar when I complete the tempo change?

    Thanks,

If I would have to spend $800, for Melodyne, shouldn't I just upgrade to Sonar 4?

Someone has had to have this happen before... What other options can be used to slow audio tracks down? I have a song that needs to be slowed down just a little.. I'm only talking 11 tracks on that are recorded. I can re-record the guitar tracks...

    Anyone.....

    Thanks,
    Eric

Use the fit to time function.
