Audio for Video ."SD2" files?

Hi all, I am trying to start an audio for video project, the client sent me the omf however instead of aiff files or .wav they are .SD2 which is "Sound Design", Sonar does not seem to want to open these, infact the system crashes when i try to open the omf.
Any help would be great.
thanks

Its not an OMF if its an SD2 file. Tell them to save it as an OMF file.

    Hi Dave,
I've been going nuts with this, SD2 is a Sound Design 2 files used by avid in the past, I guess it is obsolete now. they said they were giving me an omf with the files referenced, not embeded, faster for them or something, however I would get a folder full of ".SD2 files, and one .OMF file that did nothing for me, I'm trying to get them to make a embeded omf using aiff, as I know that will work..
