Automation Record with FW-1884?

Hi. I know I can arm a track for automation recording by pressing "WRT", and "SEL". Does anyone know how to start recording from the FW-1884? Thanks.

Click the "record automation" button in the record toolbar. Arming the track only selects which tracks will record... to capture the movements you must also click record automation.

Thanks, but what I wanted to know was how to do it from the FW-1884 (the directions in the manual are incorrect). I guess I really should post this question on the Tascam forum.

Arming the track for automation worked as described in the manual for me, but record automation did not. Meaning I still had to press the record automation button in Sonar or with the keyboard to get it to work. So this is very disappointing to me as well. No updates on Tascam's site. I wish other programs would support their mixer as well.
