"all notes off" command

Is there an "all notes off" midi command in HS 2004? I tried a search here and in my pdf "Sonar Power" book with no luck.

Thanks,
Bill

Set controller code 123 to 0.

Its a standard MIDI command and has nothing to do with the version of Home Studio.

Understood. I was just wondering if there was a "Panic" button available on screen to do it like I have in some other sequencers.

    Thanks,

Yep, it's a button with a big exclamation mark on it. It's on the Transport toolbar.

It's also in the menus under Transport->Reset.

It's more than a MIDI "all notes off". It also interrupts any feedback currently coursing through the Audio busses.

Just thought I'd throw this in...

If your problem is "hanging notes" when you hit stop, it might be because you
don't have "zero controllers when play stops" selected.

You can find it by going to Options/Project/Midi Out; select "zero controllers".

Sometimes, if you stop playback at the point where a sustain command is engaged
you'll get "stuck" notes, and occasionally, some synth patches act weird as well.

The above process should take care of this.

If this isn't your problem, then disregard this post.

Don't we all wish we had a button like that for some of the other panic(s) we get into.
