T RACKS Plug Ins

Hi Everyone,

I've heard a lot of good things about Waves, , Izotope Ozone, Voxengo as well as the UAD-1 which I currently have.

I wanted to to know if anyone has had any experience with T RACKS? Is it worth it? How does it compare to Ozone?

I planned on getting Ozone, but haven't given up on Waves yet and was considering T Racks as well.

Thanks Everyone.

It seems your question seems to be directed at Mastering Limiters.I haven't tried the Fairchild on the UAD but at the moment the plugin version(on PoCo) of the TC finalizer or the Waves L3 would be my first choices.I never really liked T-Racks mastering solution(harsh EQ/grainy limiting),but then again I really don't like mastering limiters to begin with.

I've worked with the stand-alone version of T-Racks for some time.
It really kicks ass regarding the sweetness of the sound one can achieve.
But to be honest, I find it way overpriced for such an one-trick-pony...
I haven't tested the Ozone yet, so I can't make a comparison of these two.

    cheers,
    Chris

The learning curve on T-Racks was rather intense for me.
I find the Waves stuff (which I've used on others' systems) really intuitive and easy, and I hear the same about Ozone.
If you come from an old school hardware background, you'll get T-Racks. If you didn't (as I didn't) it's confusing as hell.
