Overly extensive waits for buffered recordings to load

Hi everyone.

I have been recording live instruments using sonar 4.0.0 for about 6 months now, and just these last few days have been experiencing odd problems where the recorded tracks will take nearly 2 minutes to load into sonar once I have hit the stop button. I've tried changing the recording buffer size, the record timing master, etc. but I have no idea as to what the problem could be. I haven't changed any settings recently and this is really starting to impede any recording I'm doing.
