I have some projects that refer to plugins that I no longer have installed....or wnat for that matter. How can I make the project 'forget' about them???

Exclude them with the Plugin Manager.

Plugins that are installed....are the only ones in plugin manager.

I am talking about plugins that were used in a previous install of sonar. Say I had battery installed once. Now I don't. But my old project keeps looking for it. I want to tell it to shut the heck up...its gone.

Try page 407 in the S4 manual.

Can't you just delete the plug-in from the project and then save? It shouldn't look for it anymore after that.

Thank you....that worked perfectly. Yes...you can delete the effect from the track view...but that doesn't finish the job. I had to open Rack View...and remove the effect from there. That sealed the deed.
