“Buffer empty error” when burning CD

When attempting to Burn a CD with Pyro 4 I receive the following error message:

“Write operation was not successful. The recorder reported a buffer empty error; writing stopped. The data transfer rate was not fast enough. Driver error code = 02051002h. The disk is not successfully recorded.”

I have a Dell Inspiron with Windows XP. I have 5 GB of free space on my hard drive. The CD transfer rate was 8x. The file I am attempting to burn is 71 minutes long. The files are .wav (large) files.

One attempt transferred about 13 minutes of the music I am transferring. In my other attempts I wound up only with ruined, blank CD’s.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might overcome this problem? Thanks!
