Sonar 3p &Fxpansion BDF

Hey folks,
I have been working with Sonar 3p and BDF drums. I am throughly confused with the groove librarian (BDF) and how to bring the clips into Sonar. I am tottally new to recording crums this way, and get very easily confused on what to do!
Anyone have any suggestion on how to enhance my knowledge of how to begin working with drums maps with BDF would be greatfully appreaciated!
Please excuse my ignorance in this matter, however, I am working very hard at this and am getting very frustrated! I need help!
I would be willing to pay someone to teach me this side of Sonar 3P using BDF and creating drum maps.
Thanks
Rick

You should really check out the BFD forum. They are lots of help over there and know quite a bit.

I've got BFD drums and it's dead easy to use ...
1st you need to load the BFD as DXi in the Rack
2nd double click on the DXi BFD to launch the usual BFD interface
3rd choose the grove from the librarian and test it exactly lije using the BFD alone
4th after settling on the suitable groves and fills it is ready now to call them into your song track
5th go to the instrument keyboard role ( click the icon ) you'll find the groves you've chosen on the left in front of the keyboard keys
6th insert these groves one by one in each measure chosing the time unit you want (quavers, minims ...etc) as you write any trach .... that's all

In the end I hope you'll enjoy it as I feel that a real drummer is alive with me composing !!! and please comeback for any queries if you faced any problems ...

Just drag BFD clip ( from goove librarian) into your midi track while holding CTRL and SHIFT together.

If you click on the piano roll, the bfd drums should be mapped on there, as well the corresponing note names to trigger grooves from the groove librarian in bfd are also mapped. you don't really need to load the midi clips in sonar. all you do is enter the corresponding note name (i.e. c5 for for rock 180 bpm) on the beat you wish the clip to start.
