post retired - remixing, thx

Really enjoyed mixing the guitars in this. Very
difficult song to record and mix, for me anyway.
As usual all comments welcome.

Instruments: All harmony guitar leads, rhythm guitars,
bass and drums played by me. A friend of mine played
the single guitar leads. Written, recorded and mixed
by me.

Also, there are no toms or cymbols in this, just
snare and bass drum to keep the basic back beat.
Emphasis is on the guitars.

Best Regards,
Pluto

Your drums (excluding the extra loud /too crispy snare drum) are almost non-existant. Timing is off in parts. Balance that kit out bro, and watch your levels. I hear distortion in there.

Hey Bonzo, thx for posting. You made some good
points. It's still not done yet though. That's why
I put it up here to get some more critique.
This was a very difficult song to record and mix.
The idea of it was to have two guitars playing off
each other, sort of like a guitar battle. I'll look
into what you said.. I plan on doing one last mix on it
when i have some time. Really enjoyed mixing the
    leads in this one.

Just put another mix up. Fixed the levels
and boosted the bass a bit.

Hey Pluto...those are some jamming guitars you got going on there...I dig this tune man..especially the guitar part that starts around :43!!!Sounds kinda like vintage Ted Nugent...not really the tone but the style/phrasing.I like the heavier bass/bottom end here as well.Sounds great to me...nice job!

variaxman... thanks for the good word. Glad you liked it.
Lots of work went into it. I'm just gonna spread the rhythm
guitar out a bit more and do some minor tweaks, then it
should be done. Thx again for your comments.
