Lighter Side Of Things ...

You ever notice Ableton Live's interface is really dark? Blacks and greys. And P5's interface is really light. Silvers and blues?

Is this a coincidence?

If i were to switch to Live, would i be going to the dark side?

    Were to you have come up with the 1.x version, you'd already be from the Dark Side like the early adopters.
    Then if you went to Live, it would be dark to light to dark.
    You'd either be the adjustable slider on the side of a toaster, or an Oreo sandwich cookie (the original; not double-stuff).

    Yeah i remember v1, but you know with all the comparisons between the two ... just an observation.

    Not for nothin'...but...

    Live comes with about 20 different skins to match the colors of your choosing.

    I use the "Eddie and the Cruisers" motif which really is on the dark side.

    When I was shopping around for a soft studio (and before settling on P5) I rejected FL Studio because all those shades of grey just depressed me

    I'm tellin' 'ya, Kenneth: You need to buy a pair of rose-colored glasses today. Ever since purchasing mine, they make my mixes look so much better.
    In a pinch, you can fashion a pair out of the gels from your lighting rig. They look a little odd, but it does the trick.

    Edit: Hey, didn't they just launch Hunter the other day? I missed the landing.

    I haven't seen footage of the actual firing either. I read an article at the weekend about a Willy Wonka-type competition that inserted a golden ticket for the event behind the label of a Woody Creek branded beer. If only I knew ahead of time I would have tried my luck and purchased a crate or five.
