Best portable guitar DI for echo indigo i/o?

Looking for suggestions for a small battery powered device to allow going direct from guitar to the stereo input on an echo indigo i/o pcmcia card. I'll be using guitars and basses that have both active and passive pickup's if that matters. Using Amplitube and Trash on my laptop. Thanks in advance for any suggestions....
