    blipp is in the UK.
i've been in contact with him (an e-mail exchange) and he may reappear on the board sometime soon.
more than that i don't feel at liberty to say, except that like all of us, i miss his presence, goodwill and encouragement

Whatever the instance may be that is keeping him off the boards, I wish Blipp the best of wishes, hope and luck. As a part of the P5 family we have here, I'm sure we all in unison with our support.

Maybe the reason why blipp isn't here lately......... is cause he's deep in the creative process of making a new album. Can anyone confirm this? Random Equations 2?

Hope to see you back soon Blipp.

The last time that he pulled this stunt, he came back with an extra p. I liked the original avatar (back when he was blip): it was a little heart monitor waveform blip. Then the robot, and he quickly became this forum's favorite eight-incher.

The inevitable DDL jokes followed. I'll never forget that Dan Deacon incident, or the tales of the Professor. I wonder what comes along next with a third p?

Seriously, Blipp: I hope that all is well. You gotta check in once in a while, so that we know that you're OK.

    Hi Everyone.

Sorry i hav'nt been around much lately, but other matters became more important. My Father became very ill and passed away a few weeks ago. Then a few other things started going wrong and making music had to take a backseat for a while.

I'm really touched by everyone's concern for me and it's just re-inforced what i've known all along, that this is the best forum with the best bunch of members on the net. Thanks, i feel really privalidged to know you all.

Trying to get back into composing has proved pretty difficult so far, but i'm sure i'll get back into the swing of it after a while. It's great to be back.
    cheers,
    blipp.

Glad to see you back, blipp. Sorry for your recent misfortunes. Death in one's immediate family is a really hard thing to accept. It takes time to work through grief. Everybody has their own timetable.

    Blipp,

Sorry for your loss. A very close friend of mine passed away a couple of weeks ago, causing a lot of grief and introspection on my part. I spoke at the funeral (a cathartic experience) and I'm now working on video and soundtrack pieces for an event being arranged to celebrate my friend's life. This sudden burst of creativity has been deeply rewarding, given the subject matter. It tells me that there's always something positive, however small, to be drawn from life's harder experiences.
