I've already had a look at this service but it's missing one vital feature - a time stretching algorithm that will take what little time I have for making music these days and turn it into a week in the studio!

No, but being on dial-up kinda makes that decision for me anyway

Wasn't something like this tried a couple of years ago? Didn't it end up going bust? I guess things like this seem good in principle, but I don't know if they will ever really work...

Similar goings on with FLstudio but I believe its very difference, and there seems to be a much stronger industry push behind this one. Oooh and sorry about that dial-up get better soon....

there's a way to pass phrases and partial songs via rifftrader

    http://www.rifftrader.com/

i've only been on the sending end, so I don't know how it all works
but basically a few brave souls wanted to hear versions of some songs without percussion (the famous spousal mixes) and then they did wild and crazy things to those pieces -- most of which I've enjoyed a lot

basically they provide me a logon and password and I upload

I have tried for the past year to get broadband...unfortunately, where I live, the lines are not good enough to support the broadband service...so, until BT get their fingers out of their behinds and upgrade the lines around here, I'm stuck with dial-up

Make sure they wash their hands before working on your cable.
