Full Installation = Full DVD content ?

Hi,

I installed Project5 ver2 from the DVD and choose the full installation. This might be a stupid question, but I had similar issues in the past with other soft..... Do I have access to the full DVD content now ? or are there some special folders on the DVD where I can find more stuff ??

thanks

    aschek,

Welcome to the forum. My experience has been there are some things on the disc that I later went back for. For instance the Plugin Manager that one of the things that I had to go back for. But if you just poke around the DVD and look at your cakewalk folder you can see anything that is missing. Hope that helps. But you should be good to go crazy with what you have.

    good day to ya!

There is a lot of sample content that doesn't get installed even when doing a full installation, so you will find a bunch of acidised loops that you will need to copy to your HD, should you so desire...I think there is also some extra content for the DS864 sampler on there too...

xylyx, thanks for your comments on this... I knew it ! It is always the case.. I wonder why ??? Anyway, do you know where to find that content ? is it specified somewhere ? (I can't find it)

    thanks so much,

My guess is that the loops aren't going to be wanted/used by some people, so rather than forcing people to install it, then delete it, they just don't bother copying it during install...I guess there could be an extra option on the installer that would allow you to select whether it was copied or not, but there isn't for some reason...

As for where to find the extra content: just browse the DVD...I think it may even be in a folder labelled 'Extra Content', although it is a long while since I installed the program, so I can't remember for sure...
