Marching feet sound effect?

Hey gang, I could use some creative studio advice... I'm trying to get a "marching feet" sound effect. An actual sample would be great (if anyone knows where I can find any good sound effect libraries), but I could also go with a synthesized sound. Example: Pink Floyd "Waiting for the Worms" sounds like it's some sort of white noise fed thru a lowpass filter. But I'm not sure. Any suggestions?

Well..LOL..you could do what Queen did for "We Will Rock You"...

Set up a riser of bleachers and hire in a bunch of people to stomp their feet...

Seriously, there has to be samples of this stuff out there, Space.

There are so many sound FX libraries available, I'd find it hard to believe this effect isn't available.

You could sample just one of the "Stomps" from "We Will Rock You", and then tweak it however you needed to, to my recollection, there's nothing else playing at the same time when the song starts except the "stomp-stomp-clap"...

Of course, you may have © issues to deal with, but if you just wanted to see if that's the effect you wanted until you found one that was license free, it would give you an idea of what it would sound like.

    just a thought..

... and if Queen doesn't do it for you, you might pick up some good tips here:

Thanks glaz. That's too weird... so I guess I'm not the only one who needs marching feet. I ended up using the Queen stomp, ran it thru an EQ to give it an AM radio effect, and it sounds pretty authentic. Now if I can just get the rest of my song to sound as cool...
