Is CAL still available in Sonar 5? Reason limited?

I ask because I use the split notes to tracks and the midi functions quite a lot.

So, is CAL still working in Sonar 5?

Is Reason still limited to 16 devices?

I sure hope they continue to support both this and the studioware functions....

I've been quite sad that I have to go back to older version to create/edit any of these, but at least the ones I've created are still easily accessible...

Maybe it would be a good idea for the Bakers to release an editor specifically for these two functions?

okay, maybe I am on crack and have no idea what I am doing, but I tried to load 2 studioware panels last night, and 4.0.3 said file not recognized. Now to be honest, I never used either file before so maybe they were corrupted or mislabled. Either way, it sucks if cake is going to abandon cal and studioware. I had always been meaning to get more into those aspects of the program, and as far as I know, nobody else offers anything similar. If they are going to kill off those features than they need to be more dilligent with the control surface plugins and instrument definitions!
okay, too much coffee, me out.

Hmm... So no one from cakewalk wants to touch this?

I wouldn't normally ask about this since the version 5 isn't even out yet, but CAL has zero to do with any other hosts. The rewire thing isn't that big of a deal, I'm just curious. Cubase may have unlimited rewire connections, but the mono connect is crap.

I'd really like to know about CAL since I had read before that it was to be overhauled.

I doubt that CW would remove CAL features without having a suitable replacement in S5. However, it would be nice to have this confirmed.
