audio driver error

the following driver either do not support the current audio format or are in use by another
application. please choose whether you want to disable them or use them anyway,
modem#1 Line Playback ..should i disable or use anyway.

    Let's think this thing thru shall we. Could a modem possibly be of any help in recording audio or midi? I think not. So you need somevother type of driver to make the sound card work.

    Go to options/Audio and find the wave profiler button, click it, close and reopen cakewalk. check under options audio again and see is any more drivers are available. If not then go to the advanced tab and find the chck box "always use MME drivers even if..." and check that, now run the wave profiler again and close and reopen cakewalk, there now should be drivers for your sound card, if not then you have a setup problem on the sound card, please list what is there, and we can work from that point
