Sonar 4 and Melodyne

Hope someone can share some info on how to get Sonar 4 and Melodyne to work together....

Do you use Melodyne as a rewire client or with the melodyne bridge?

My only luck has been with the bridge. It doesn't seem quite as slick as in the demo videos, but it does work. From what I understand, you insert the bridge adapater into the audio track in Sonar (vocal track for example). Then, the track gets streamed into Melodyne when you play it. Then in Melodyne, you can edit the track. When you play it back via Sonar, only the changes you made in Melodyne get played. So you corrected one note, everything plays from the Sonar track except when it hits that one note, it plays from the Melodyne edited track.

Sorry for the crappy example, but that is the best I could do without being in front of it.

Hey...I went ahead and skipped even trying to do my adjusting for vocals within Melodyne through Sonar. I located my vocal tracs and just did them in the Melodyne standalone. You could also just export a WAV of your main mix to stick in another track within melodyne if you need to do timing adjustments. Is this a better idea then trying to use the bridge within Sonar? Just wanted to know if you get good performance like this. I have a fast system, so resources are not a problem.
