Adding punches and streamers to video in Sonar

Hi, guys!!

So, I'm using Sonar as my master sequencing to do films and TV. I'm going to record with a live ensemble, and I'm trying to find a way to do punches and streamers on the video in Sonar. Any ideas of how to do that? External software, internal command?

Thanks for the advice, guys!

Sonar itself can't do streamers. For punches I've just created a clip of 'beeps' appropriate for the session, then slid it around to where it's needed during the session.

I've heard a rumor that the MOTU Digital Timepiece can overlay streamers, but I can't verify it.

I would love Sonar to do streamers on the video, but I daresay that is so far down the priority list (if it's even on it at all) that it'll never see the light of day. Although, they did put in firewire video output in Sonar 5... there may be hope.

    Sonar 15 perhaps....it is a dream!

Like you Tarsier, just stick in beeps at the apporiate place (Not two every 10 frames as Newman did...kind of gets annoying...to me anyway!)

    All the best
