sampling and encoding

hey all. ive been usin kinetic for a couple months now, and is wonderin how to take samples and transfer them to kinetic. also, im wonderin if A. theres a program i can download to convert my music to mp3s so i can burn them to cds and B. how do i post my songs on here? or what website should i use to link them?
