MOVED question to another forum....

Hi...we just installed a new motherboard, powersupply, ram, cpu, and video card, now Sonar 4 doesn't work....can anyone help? In the track view we keep getting drop outs, but the sound continues, just the timer stops at 1.4 sec. are there settings I need to change??

specs.
abit NF8 motherboard
amd athlon 64 2800 cpu
1gb ddr400 ram
radeon 9800 pro video card

    How come you posted the exact same question twice with 2 different subjects? This is going to get very confusing when you receive help on both threads and we duplicate each other's advice. Please change this subject title to "(MOVED) new motherboard" by clicking the edit icon in the upper right hand of your original post and also include a link to the correct thread at http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.asp?m=609667

    What sound card are you using? Latest drivers on all the hardware? BIOS the latest?

    Other than the above, rather than take the hit and miss approach, I'm going to recommend you skim the Sonar FAQ for troubleshooting tips. (Most of the "well known" fixes are documented here).

    Maybe try the tech tips first, then move on to the Sonar forum FAQ, then if you are still stuck, come back, and we can try and narrow down the source of the problem.
