Recording 2 mono tracks of audio

Hi.

I want to record 2 tracks of audio (mono guitar and vocal) but when I try to click more than 1 of the wave icons that activate the input on an audio track the other switches off - can someone help me on this, I am using a presonus firebox and am using inputs 1 & 2.

    I believe you can record only one track at a time whether it is Stereo or mono.

    You can kind of record 2 mono tracks, I.E. Track 1 left audio input Track 2 Right audio input. Right click on the track and choose right or left for the audio input.
