Stopping notes sounding when you add/move them in pattern view

Is there any way to stop notes sounding when you add/move them in pattern view?

If I want to audition the sound I'll press the keyboard.

It puts me off if (while another part of the pattern is playing) making adjustments creates totally out-of-time sounds.
