MSI K8n neo2 + Audiophile 2496 - anyone?

MSI K8n neo2 + Audiophile 2496 - anyone?

Sorry to bother again...

I've got the board, i've got the cpu. There's only the soundcard left...

Does anybody have a system with a MSI K8n neo2 and an Audiophile 2496?

If yes, I would really like to know what minimum usable latencies can be achieved with that card in that board (with a decent cpu of course).

    Probably you can go quite low with not too heavy load. But I'll throw in another opinion for the soundcard, Echo Audio MiaMIDI. I'm using Echo Gina3G, and I can easily go to 2-5ms latecies with small load, with my old and slow computer. I'm really looking forward seeing the performance with my new computer (just ordered it), which also has the Neo2 Platinum board.

    Thanks for your suggestion! I'll check it out.

    I'm asking this because I use an Audigy 2 in my Nforce2 based system, and I can use it at 2,66 with no problems up to 4-5 softsynths.

    I wouldn't like to spend about 100$ in a music-oriented soundcard for my new system that couldn't do this in the new system.

    Any comment about your soundcards performance with k8n neo2 is welcome.
