How do I contribute by instrument def for QS6.1?

I went to the Cakewalk site, and the instrument definition file for my Alesis was for the QS6 (I have a 6.1). So I spent a lot of time and did my own. It is worth it to get this posted up in the Cakewalk FTP site? A lot of the stuff there looks very old and maybe that collection of files just aren't used any more and people go other places.

Looking to do "the right thing".

    Hi Eric,

You could ask Cakewalk if they would put your .ins file on the ftp server, but honestly the SONAR Wiki is probably the best place to share that file. You might also check with www.cakewalknet.com. The Wiki will let you create an account and then you can upload a .zip file with your .ins definition in it. You can then create an article and link the .zip file to it. Put your article on the Instrument Definition Files page.

Also, if there are any forums or email groups about the Alesis QS line, you could post your INS in those places and I'm sure they'll appreciate it. Try searching groups.yahoo.com for a QS6 group.
