SAIGYO'S BACK W/ ?? ABOUT MP3 CONVERTER THAT CAME WITH MC2.0

Hello Board!!

I would like to thank the folks who gave me real good advice here about a month or so back--you know who you are. I am 'up and running' and the software is doing for me what I wanted. The handful of folks to whom I have sent some of my recordings have responded favorably.

I notice that I only have 2 or 3 more days left on the free trial of the MP3 conversion software that came bundled with the MC 2.0. The purchase price, for unlimited future use, is $29.00 and I can handle that expense. It sure is easy to use and is well integrated into the export routine, based on my experience.

I have not investigated 'share ware' or free software, so I do not know if the $29.00 is an intelligent expenditure.

Any thoughts?

    I convert all my MP3 s in either DB Power amp or in Audacity both are free, also if you want a free converter for MC there is a lame convertoer out there on the net that works

    search for CWENC, its an MP3 converter that works just like the other MP3 encoder, right in the cakewalk file menu.

    So far, the only MP3 encoder I find in CW Music Creator 2.0 is the one that came with the 30 day free trial , which has now expired. Am I missing something?

    The cost to continue it is $29.00.

    look online for it, you can find something. Do a search for CWENC. Or buy the encoder, whatever floats your boat.

    I tried out CWENC for mp3 encoding and it works great...thanks so much for turning me on to this!!!!
