Still Trying

Can anyone please lay this out for me step by step? I downloaded CDex which converts MP3 into .wav files, but kinetic still says that the file is corrupt of incorrectly formatted when i try to play the converted wave on kinetic. Is there really a way to play a downloaded mp3 on kinetic or not. ( Pulling my hair out.....tryin to do this) Thanks for your time. DJ SNOW

    u cant play a mp3 on kinetic, u can use a sample of a wav file, but not a full mp3 juz a sample.

    i use musicmatch to convert mp3 to .wav u should try that out

    i think maybe your trying to open it outside of kinetic.alright this is how i do it.

    1.i open kinetic
    2.open new project
    3.choose a channel
    4.go to choose pattern and patch
    5.go to little icon that looks like a folder and click on it.
    6.then it opens and you look for the file.just remember what folder you put it in.
    and it should automatically show you all the compatible files you can open anyway.

    this iz wut i did i converted a mp3 into a .wav then drag the file into my kinetic pattern i wont it to be in its that simple nun-nuttz
