Click at end

Everytime I bounce a song I get a loud click right after the last note of the song then I hear the tailing reverb. I tried extending the last midi notes and/or setting the tail to 3 or more seconds with no luck. My sound card is a Layla 24/96 with the latest drivers and P5 2.01.
Thanks for any ideas.

Stretch the playback farther than you want to go. Just drag it out to about 120 bars. You, my friend have an anomoly that you can fix.

    Thanks phil,
I tried stretching the last notes a couple of messures but are you saying to stretch it way out like a couple of minutes?

No, 120 bars is not a couple of minutes. I know the math seems to work out, but it's apples and oranges to say the least.

Stretch your playback SEVERAL bars past where your tune ends, that's the moral of the story. Several bars past where there is no sound at all. See if that helps.

I think maybe you've got some automation that goes from 0 to 127 right after your last note or something like that. Look through your automation for something weird looking.

When you export to wav or mp3 have you got the option "effects tails" ticked and set the time to 10 seconds or there abouts ?

Thanks everyone but yes I tried the effects tails and automation, and it does this on all my songs.

    Thanks,
    Scott
