Synchronization Problem - Quantinize ?? Buffer??

I am using Sonar 2 and I am having a problem with the tracks going out of Synch, or time. I'm not sure what to call it. When I record one Audio track and play it back it is fine, but when i record track two also an audio track, it gets out of time about the 12th - 15th measure. It's only off by a half second or so... I tried Quantinize , but im a newbie and dont know what im doing. Any help is always appreciated.

Thanks.

What are your system specs? What sound card are you using? Do the sample rate/bit depth match in both S2 and your sound card? Is your version of S2 patched up to version 2.2?
