Hi, I want to know how to use soundfonts in sonar. I have downloaded a rock drums soundfont (sf2 file) Soundfont 2.0 bank? How to I use these? Can they replace the standard drum sounds in TTS-1 for example? Thanks.

there's a sonar forum, man. Although Robo can get you started on soundfonts probably faster than anyone over at the sonar forum.

I believe that in Sonar you have a sound font player called SFZ SoundFont sampler, pop that dude in there and use it like you would any soft synth. It should work fine, i use the free version on occasion.
Just add it to the synth rack and then to open a font in it select the proper channel, then browse the font folder by right clicking the instrument slot in SFZ and pick the correct version under bank, then adjust the settings to what you want.

You won't in sonar 4, it came with 5, just download the freebie and use it, I have it and it works great.
