5 new songs! (4 instrumentals and a live one)

Right, so I got around to recording some stuff again, and I thought I'd share:

First, 4 new piano tunes. Aside from being a feeble attempt to impress the ladies, this was actually also an excercise in recording a piano, which wasn't something I had done before. Learned tons, and I feel I recorded some decent stuff to boot! And damn... talk about mic placement being CRUCIAL to a good piano recording. So little do soooo much, its amazing.

Blues in C Minor, basicly just me playing around in the blues scale, after recording some of the other songs. Needed a break, had a blast, and ended up recording 6 minutes of fun :)

Winter's Storm, song written to a girl, things go bad, song never finished, me decide, yes, finish song, yes yes! Eh, this is how it ended up, I like! My longest, and most likely most complicated song so far.

Spring, my first tune ever written for the piano. Also the first one recorded of all these, which sadly shows in the quality.

Number 2, called such, because I had no idea what to call it, and calling it "Number 1" didn't sound right ;) (quite short)

And then we have Wonderwall (Live), performed last christmas in a church with guitarist Sixten Holm. Its the Ryan Adam's version, and yes, its quite horrible in sound quality (was recorded with a digital camera).

Right uhm, I think thats it! I hope you like it! Any comments or such?

Oh, and if you like it, feel free to check out the rest of my songs at http://www.philip-zeplin.com/music

Sorry. I tried to listen here at work. They've got our PCs pretty locked down and my Windows Media Player would not recognize the file format.

    Hi Philip,
Happy New Year to you and Yours, this might me why your files wont play:

    Microsoft

You are trying to play an MP3 file that contains compressed ID3 headers. The ID3 header is a portion of the file that stores the song's album information (for example, the song name, artist name, album name, and genre). This information is sometimes called a "tag."
To fix the problem, make a copy of the file and then use a non-Microsoft ID3 tag editing program to remove or reset the file's ID3 headers. After you remove the ID3 headers, Windows Media Player should be able to play the MP3 file.

Attempting to remove ID3 headers might damage the file and make it unplayable. Therefore, always make a copy of the file before you edit it.

If this solution does not resolve the problem, the file might be corrupted.

    Cheers
    Mike

I listened to the first three. There all very good. My favorite is winter's storm. Brings back
memories. My bother played for about twelve years. He just finished college and I hope
he starts playing again. It really is a beautiful sounding instrument.
