Computer shut down

Computer shut down

When I start recording the first midi track using channel 1 both on Music creator and on my Casio keyboard everything is great. But as soon as I set the 2nd midi track to channel 2 on m/c and my keyboard my computer shuts down. Would anyone know why?
Do I need to buy more memory? My dell has a 256 module. Thanks

    Ram does not usually cause a shut down, but you never know, that is really far to little to go on to be of much help

    I'd Seize the day but i can't quite reach it!
