Is Cake Walk the right program

I am looking for a program that will allow me to sepperate vocals, guitar, drums....ect on c.d.'s that I have.......just begining to play guitar and I was told that cakewalk could do this as well as slow down each instrument in perfect pitch so I could slowly learn the songs..............So would cakewalk be the right program or is there any program that would allow you to do that to a bought c.d.????????

A better way is to find the midi files to your favorite songs some where on the internet, and use them as backing tracks, midi can be slowed down and not change pitch, since it is not audio but instructions. I use Midi files to do backing track sfor cove songs all the time, take a listen at my website and see what i mean, just click my name in the post and it will go to my profile here and my wegspace is listed there.
