export midi drum files as wav?

Hi all,


I am brand new to both cakewalk and this forum; this is my first post.

I want to save some drum compositions I wrote in the MIDI template in a format I can email to folks, and have them play it back with a common software, such as windows media player.

Problem is, the EXPORT AUDIO menu is grayed out. The forum says the midi must be converted to audio before being exported as such, but i don't know how to do that

any hints?

Also, if there are any roland V-drum players in here, I'd like to hear from ya' !

midi is just computer commands - it's not sounds. So you have to convert your midi tracks to audio tracks - and then you can export them. As robo said - there are posts on here explaining how to do that
