using cakewalk for live gig?

Thanks to MC I have all my backing tracks tuned up and ready to go. Is there an easy way to toggle from one song to the next?

Some have told me they use cakewalk for arranging a midi file but then use other software (ie. Karaoke software!) for on stage. I looked at that, but it wouldn't recognize the saved settings I did thru MC, even after resaving as a mid file instead of a wrk file.

Any suggestions?

    No way to toggle, I alway suggest mixing down the files to a MP3 then any player will do, WMP, WinAmp, you name it. Once you have midi done and then you convert it to a wave far less can go wrong in a live situation.

    I don't know how long in time the MC products will play continuously, but you could theoretically string all your songs together on 1 track. Pause as needed. Greg
