Dim Pro Update

Didn't the cakefolk announce a (free?) Dimension Pro update for us reg users at NAMM - Should I be patient or is it hidden somewhere on the Cakesite?? I can't find it anywhere...

    Free Dimension Pro update coming March
    At NAMM, Cakewalk announced Dimension 1.1, a free update for registered Dimension Pro 1.0 customers. The update includes RTAS native plug-in support for Pro Tools, native support for Windows XP Pro x64 Edition, REX file support, microtuning and alternate tuning through Scalaâ„¢ file support; and more.

    I don't know if this will be included in the update but Dimension Pro really could use glide/portmento controls. Anyone else with me one this?

    Dimension Pro really could use glide/portmento controls.

    Hmm. Don't know about the GUI but certainly the actual sfz player is capable. Check this out if you haven't done so already.

    Down at the bottom of D pro you will see a window with lines drawn it it. In the top right of this box if you select pitch button you can draw any kind of pitch change you want from a gentile glide to whammy bar effects. And just like a protamento effect it can track key or be independent. It takes a little getting to know how to manipulate this synth but you will find everything you need for classic synth type manipulation within this great synth. Oh and if you have a controller try the pitch wheel as well. You can set the change amount top (r/i/g/h/t) I mean LEFT corner.
