Opinion Needed: Powered Monitors, KRK's

Looking for some user input.

Im upgrading my studio powered monitors, currently using Yamaha MSP3's (was my beginner pair). 3" woofers make for an agonizing amount of "final mixes". What with no low end until I get in the car and all.

Im limited to what my local Guitar Centr has because I will get some value on a trade in. I cant go much bigger (apartment living), so Im bascially going up to a 6" woofer pair, and Im looking at the KRK-V6, seen here http://www.americanmusical.com/item--i-KRK-V6II--brand-142.html.

Anyone use these or have an opinion? Thanks.

i have the KRK V 4 series 2 and the KRK Rokit 6 series, and I love using the V series more than the Rokit PWD series. The V series are a bit bright, but they are great monitors overall.

Check out the Sound on Sound Magazine March 2005 review of the KRK V series Line SOS Mag review of KRK V Series

    I hope this helps,

    Peace
