I get a Delay from Strum to playout.

I get a Delay from Strum to playout.

Can someone help? I have my Fender plug into the computer, and when I go to record there is a second or two delay from the strum of the guitar to the playback from the speakers. How can I fix this?

    If your computer can support it, then slide the latency slider to fast, under options/audio, then change the driver mode to WDM, and last but not least turn off input monitoring.

    I'd Seize the day but i can't quite reach it!
