Sonar and Gigastudio in Rewire mode

Hi everybody,

I just received Sonar 5 Producer Edition and it looks wonderful. I'm having some difficulties to set things up in rewire mode with Gigastudio 3.

I can launch GS3 from within Sonar in rewire mode but GS3 doesn't receive midi data (it's mute). The piano keyboard in GS3 produces nothing.

I'd be grateful if somebody could help me out on this one.

Thanks,

Mark

Don't play the keyboard in GS3. Route a midi track in Sonar to the rewire "Giga3" midi output and play that midi track.

Also if you have Options->Audio->Advanced "Share Drivers..." checked, then when Sonar doesn't have the focus, it won't play any audio. (I think...) So if it's checked, try unchecking that and then try playing GS3's keyboard.

    Hi tarsier,

The problem got solved through the Northernsounds Forum. Thanks.

I have to say that the included book is not doing me any good. I've just been searching for over an hour to be able to not display the continuous data in the Track View. No luck (big sigh), the book is definitely not helping much.

    Thanks for your time,

    Mark
